The service

Transcribe Video to Text turns a file you upload into a timestamped transcript and TXT, SRT, or VTT. It is an automated tool. It does not provide legal, medical, or official transcription.

Your files

You must have the rights needed to upload the file and to send its audio to the transcription provider named on the model disclosure page. You are responsible for the content. We do not offer a way to pull videos from YouTube or other sites.

Minutes

Each account receives a lifetime free allowance (recommended default: 5 minutes). A job deducts the media duration rounded up to the next minute when transcription starts. A cache hit is not charged. A failed job returns the minutes deducted for that attempt. Packs add minutes to the same ledger. Minutes do not expire unless an operator later changes that rule.

Preview of a finished transcript is available on the account. Watermark-free TXT, SRT, and VTT download requires a remaining minute balance at the time of export.

Payments

Packs are one-time PayPal purchases. Prices in the catalog are the source of truth. Checkout can be turned off; a closed checkout is not an offer to sell.

Acceptable use

Follow the acceptable use page. We may suspend an account that abuses the free allowance or uploads content it has no right to process.
